roman catholic church music of the 18th and 19th Centuries in Celje and its surroundings, religious contrafacta of secular vocal music (operatic arias) at the turn of the 18th into the 19th century
Jana Erjavec graduated at the University of Ljubljana, Department of Musicology, in 2019. Immediately after graduation she got engaged as a junior researcher at the Research centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Institute of Musicology. Her doctoral research focuses on roman catholic church music of the 18th and 19th centuries in Celje and its surroundings, with special consideration to the early music manuscript and print collection preserved in the abbey church of St. Daniel.
