Répertoire international des sources musicales (RISM)
The Institute of Musicology participates in the international musicological project of the Répertoire international des sources musicales (database of musical sources).

Répertoire international de littérature musicale (RILM)
The Institute of Musicology participates also in the international musicological project of the Répertoire international de littérature musicale (database of musicological literature). Inventory of current musicological literature for Slovenia is carried out in cooperation with RILM, New York, since 1984; in 1991 a national committee for Slovenia, with a seat at the Institute of Musicology, was founded. The most recent bibliographical inventory was published in 2001 (for 1997) in the RILM Abstracts of Music Literature, although a continuously updated bibliography in electronic form is also available through the link of the National and University Library in Ljubljana.

AGREEMENTS ON CO-OPERATION WITH INSTITUTIONS IN OTHER EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

The Pedagogical Faculty of the State University of Tver, Russia
In the summer of 2003 the rector of the University of Tver (Russia) and director of the Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts signed an agreement on cooperation in educational, research and concert-educational activities for the period of 2004-2009 between the Pedagogical Faculty of the State University of Tver and the Institute of Musicology, Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Cooperation is carried out in the research and educational spheres in the form of mutual exchange of academic works, monographs, teaching materials, etc.

Ethnological Institute (Department of Musicology) of the Chezch Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic
On 23 November 2006 the Institute of Musicology signed a bilateral agreement on exchange of musicological litearture (especially De musica disserenda and Hudební Veda) with the Ethnological Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. In May 2007 an official agreement was signed by the Direcotrs of both institutions on general scientific co-operation in the years 2007-2009.

Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland
In October 2007 the Institute of Musicology signed a bilateral agreement on general scientific co-operation and exchange of musicological literature in the years 2007-2012 with the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
