Did you know?

Did you know that the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra visited Ljubljana more than a hundred years ago? The orchestra played under the direction of the well-known conductor Hans Richter (1843–1916). A second Berlin orchestra also made a guest appearance in Ljubljana a few years later on 8 March 1903. This was the Berlin Tonkünstler Orchestra founded by the world-famous composer and conductor Richard Strauss (1864–1949), who conducted at this concert.
