Mantuani Award Recipients for 2024
Tomaž Faganel and Marko Motnik honored for outstanding achievements in musicology

On March 13, 2025, the Musicological Society presented the Mantuani Award and Recognition for 2024 at the ZRC Atrium, highlighting outstanding achievements in the field of musicology.
The Mantuani Award for Lifetime Achievement was conferred upon Mag. Tomaž Faganel, a longtime former researcher at the Institute of Musicology, ZRC SAZU.
The Mantuani Recognition for a Singular Achievement was awarded to Dr. Marko Motnik, a researcher at the Institute of Musicology, ZRC SAZU, for his scholarly monograph Glasbena pot Sophie Linhart: Po sledeh družine Antona Tomaža Linharta (Sophie Linhart’s Musical Career: In the Footsteps of A. T. Linhart’s Family).
