New in the MAMS series

In 2024, the Institute of Musicology published two new volumes in the Monumenta artis musicae Slovaeniae series of critical editions of early music heritage. Volume 64 contains three masses by Simone Gatto from Hren's choir books, preserved in Ljubljana, and is edited by Klemn Grabnar. The volume 65 brings six compositions by Jacobus Handel-Gallus, preserved in manuscript transcriptions, and is edited by Marko Motnik. All the motets of Gallus's monumental collection Opus musicum: MAMS volumes 5-17 are now also freely available online within the ZRC Publishing House's OMP repository.
