In memoriam

On Friday 13 September 2024, our colleague Dr Bojan Bujić, a renowned English musicologist of Croatian origin, Professor Emeritus of the University of Oxford, and an expert on European music of the 16th and 17th centuries, left us after a long illness. Especially in the first decades after the founding of the Institute of Musicology, he was a frequent distinguished guest at its scientific meetings. Between 2001 and 2008, he was a member of the editorial board for the publication of the collected works of Gabriello Puliti in the Monumenta artis musicae Sloveniae series and was co-author of its volume 44. Since the founding of the scholarly musicological journal De musica disserenda in 2005, he has been a member of its international editorial board. He will be fondly remembered.
