Critical Editions of Early Music between Past and Future: 40 Years of the Series Monumenta artis musicae Sloveniae

On Monday 4 September, the Institute of Musicology will celebrate the 40 years of the series Monumenta artis musicae Sloveniae. During the two-part event the authors of critical editions will talk of their experiences with Monumenta series or will discuss in the frame of an occasional round table the advantages and troubles of »Critical Editions of Early Music yesterday, today, and tomorrow«. This event will be followed by a concert MOTECTA BONA & FAVORABILIA: Favourite Motets from Ljubljana Cathedral with compositions by Clemens non Papa, Phinot, Lupi, and Gombert. Warmly invited!
